Second session of the day on 'the hill' I had a few runs down the hill before Shem and Craig turned up. We then went on to the top of the hill and gave snow-kiting a go.

I found it difficult to get going at first, but once up and riding it was easy enough. Starting going for some jumps. First one was a little tentative and about 2 inches high, next one i went for it a bit more and found myself about 7-8 foot in the air and landed it OK... then looked around to see if anyone saw it and ended up flat on my face gettng dragged through the snow!! ;)

A little later on I tried a jump on my weaker tack as I knew Shem and Faye were watching, but as usual on that tack I didn't land it very well and ended up with a fairly sore arse!

We then went back onto the hill and down to the 'nursery slope' where we had built a little kicker. We did a few jumps, built the ramp up a bit and then did a few more, but the snow was melting quite quickly and the landing area was just grass. Landed on my arse again and called it a day.

Another top session though, that just has to get 4 stars as its so unsual to get out snow-boarding and my first go at snow-kiting was a success.
